The Masses Flock To Palin Book Signing

Here's one piece of good news, Dallas apparently doesn't give a shit about Sarah Palin. The picture above is of the huge, throng at a Barnes and Noble on Sunday when the ex half-term governor made an appearance to sign copies of her new book, How to Get Rich if You're Dumb, Pretty, and Borderline Illiterate. Wait, that's not what it's called? Oh, who cares, that's about 30 people in line. B&N set aside a whopping 250 books for Palin to sign. Fox 4 didn't even send one of it's name reporters. I hope Sarah's saving her money.

4. Remember when she was here last year?
Bailed out early because she got "too tired," and left a lot of pissed-off people standing in line.

5. I was about to say, I was in Augusta, KS, for Thanksgiving
Just a few miles to the east of Andover. I always considered Andover its own separate city, but regardless of that, I was asking myself, "Why Andover? Couldn't she find a place in Wichita?" If you can't even get Wichita to invite you somewhere, you're pretty much done for.

12. Was nuts out here in Nebraska.
She signed at a bookstore last Saturday. Signing was 11am-2pm. Tickets were given away at 9am, had to be in line at 7am to get one.

Line was 1500 deep by 6:30am. Unbelievable.

19. Her appeal has become more selective, that's all
Just like in Spinal Tap, where the band that was once booked into huge concert halls spent its latest North American tour playing high school gymnasiums, Palin's appeal has become more selective; now the very small towns that are full of teabaggers are where she goes to draw crowds. You could book her into the Walmart in Sandpoint and pack the place because Bonner County is packed with teabaggers, but she would draw enough people to half-fill a drugstore in CDA or Spokane.
