Ron Paul voted for the Pelosi/Democratic tax bill?!
Anyone know why? He must have some weird libertarian reason that gets him to that vote. I could not imagine that it would be upon liberal progressive grounds.

Three Republicans, Walter Jones (N.C.), Ron Paul (Texas) and John Duncan (Tenn.), voted with Democrats to renew only the middle-class cuts.

1. Hey, I agree with Ron Paul on ending the wars and auditing the Fed - I'm not surprised...
...that he has common sense about this.

When teabaggers and liberals finally get together as citizens against corporate power, we'll be in a good place.

7. Likewise with Walter Jones.
He was the author of that infamous "Freedom Fries" term, but he had the honesty and COURAGE to admit that he was WRONG about the Iraq Invasion: http://www.alternet.org/story/22281/

I don't know about that other Congressman, but I'll keep an eye on him in the future.

2. Doesn't this fit with his TeaBaggy pals?
Seems to me it does. I expect him to support extending the top 2% tax cuts too.

Unlike most Republicans who are corporate conservatives.

5. Taxes are one of the things that he would get rid of. This was about
taxes.

6. Ron Paul doesn't vote against tax cuts. He can worry about the upper bracket tax cuts later. nt
