So when did we ose the decorum of the House & Senate?
Over the years I;ve heard many congressmen say many different things, many not kind words too, but they all always maintained a certain dignity...saying "My friends from the other side", "My esteemed collegue", etc & never calling anyone a liar, at least not directly. Now we have a nutjob who's destined to the the Speaker of the House and he says things like "this is chicken crap"???I realize he was pissed because the Dems embarrassed the Pubs with tht vote on tax cuts, but geesh John, is your vocabulary THAT POOR?

1. "Go fuck yourself."
There's your answer.

FWIW, I agree with you completely.

6. Yep
I will (and do) say anything to anyone, I don't give a shit what anyone thinks.

But not on the Senate floor.

Dick Cheney is one of the most classless human beings (if I may use that term in reference to that asshole) I have ever encountered.

You should see him 'dine'. A pig at the trough. And that is doing a grave disservice to pigs in general.

8. I would rather see a good old fashioned fist fight than
checks from big tobacco handed out on the floor of The House

9. He said that on the Floor?
Damn, I gotta start tuning in to Cspan, sounds like it is getting exciting.
Maybe a duel next?

My theory is, if Congress members could carry guns on the Floor, manners would improve a lot.

10. I would rather hear salty language
...than listen to utter bullshit.

I left C-Span playing after today's big vote and took a nap. I awoke in fits and starts to some rambling revisionist history lesson from Louie Gohmert wherein he surmised that millionaires and billionaires were just like regular people because the majority of them drive Ford F-150 trucks.

I tried to go back to sleep but I was too afraid of the warnings that would manifest in my nightmares.

11. Did he say that on the floor, or in an interview
It makes a difference in their eyes.
