Wikileaks.org is down.
It appears that the domain name is not even resolving. If so, then either they're in the process of moving or the domain has been removed from the name servers.

2. Doesn't work for me.
You probably still have the address in your DNS cache. How technical are you? Are you able to determine the IP address for that domain?

3. You could try OpenNIC

If someone's doing something shady, maybe the changes haven't propagated to them yet.

10. They moved off of Amazon earlier today and were up and running elsewhere.
This is something different. I think the domain name has been removed from the domain servers. This is likely a government action.

13. Because they inveted it. DARPA and your tax dollars
built the system and the government maintains control over the network designed to survive a nuclear war.

Just because.

30. I think you're right.
At least in this instance the company hosting the name servers are stating that they removed them because of a DDOS attack.

34. Which makes the possibility of
The US govt having launched ANY of these DDoS attacks very very slim...

DDoS? That's 4chan shit. The DoD might as well start prank ordering pizzas and limos and sending them to Assange... Come on....

The Pentagon CREATED the internet, they know how to manage it. Trust me, they have their ways.

Amazon wants no part of this international drama.

I wont say the DDoS attacks were self inflicted just YET, but they did not come from a sophisticated defense/intel bureau like ours

11. Check out this article, it gives their IP address:
Gizmodo France has been able to confirm that the new host is located in the town of Roubaix, France. The 91.121.133.41 IP address belongs to OVH, who provides internet hosting and collocation services. In fact, OVH is the biggest internet hosting provider in France, and the second one in Europe.

The new servers will share the load with their Bat-Servers in a Swedish nuclear bunker, which has been the home of WikiLeaks since last summer.

It's worked for me even when none of the others connected. No clue how they do it.

On edit: Ok, well, I didn't mean to mislead..it usually does well but right now when I click on stuff to read a cable it says it's unavailable. Other times it has been more reliable.

19. Fortunately the state dept. cables are already out however
when you threaten to expose the real powers that be, the banksters, you're asking for real trouble.

Maybe they should have just released the info without telegraphing it.

22. The server is still up. You just have to repair the DNS problem on your end.

If you have a Windows machine that means adding a few lines to your hosts file.

On my XP machine it's located at C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

For other versions of Windows, for Macs, Linux, etc. do some googling and find where it's located.

Open it and add these lines at the bottom and save it.
91.121.133.41 wikileaks.org
91.121.133.41 www.wikileaks.org
91.121.133.41 cablegate.wikileaks.org

Note that some antivirus software may complain about changes to the host file, just OK it. It's also possible that your hosts file may have the "read only" property set. If so, you need to uncheck it before opening the file and then check it again after saving it.

You should be able to access the site after you do this. Note that this change is only good for as long as they are at that IP address, 91.121.133.41. THINK OF THIS AS A TEMPORARY FIX! Once they have a working name server you should remove those lines. If you leave them and their IP address changes you will no longer be able to access the site.

27. Gary McKinnon? LOL
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gary_McKinnon
Gary McKinnon (born 10 February 1966) is a Scottish systems administrator and hacker who has been accused of what one US prosecutor claims is the "biggest military computer hack of all time," although McKinnon himself states that he was merely looking for evidence of free energy suppression and a cover-up of UFO activity and other technologies potentially useful to the public. After a series of legal proceedings in England, McKinnon is currently awaiting extradition to the United States.

What does he have? Pictures of UFOs?

You no longer trust them? At what point did you stop trusting them and why? I have not heard any denials of anything they've released.

33. Security level doesn't necessarily have any relation to "juiciness".
Unless you consider weapons systems information and such as "juicy".

McKinnon was apparently interested in technical information. Which is something I don't find particularly "juicy" and which probably shouldn't be released.

I hadn't thought about that until you mentioned it. Our goons are probably so good at this kind of sabotage. They've been at it for decades.
