The rich don't creat jobs. Jobs Create Jobs! |
|
We need to fight the Republican meme, "The rich create jobs" they don't create jobs.
More people with money to spend is what creates jobs.
Outside of the "good ol' boys' club", why would anyone pay money for salaries and wages without a reason to? Why would anyone create a job out of nothing?
Even if you start a business, it wouldn't succeed unless there's someone to buy whatever you're selling. Why would anyone create a job unless their was a Demand to meet?
What is Demand? Demand is people with money to spend.
Where do people get money to spend? From their jobs, therefore, it's jobs that create jobs.
We should take every opportunity to say this as often as possible to anyone and everyone everywhere.

1. The rich have had NONSTOP disproportionate advantages for years now. |

Certainly since the bush tax cuts took effect. So where are the jobs then? By now, seven or eight years down the line from that, you'd think we'd have full employment with all the benefits and tax cuts and other goodies in the pig trough that was placed before them, shoving everybody else to the back of the line so they could chow down some more, after having already eaten a full meal. They've GOTTEN theirs already. In spades. Year after year! SO WHERE ARE THE JOBS, THEN?

7. It's just a big scam by the rich to grab more for themselves. It never was an economic theory. |

2. Not just for Pubs anymore. I've seen some here, today, call the rich 'investors & job creators. |
|
It's as much a failed strategy, though, no matter who says it.

3. Well , they do, it's a fact. |
|
They invest lots of money and create millions of jobs in China, India and Brazil. The rich take most unearned money and invest where they get the most returns and could care less about our country. I guess we could give them the 4 or 5% tax break along with a stiff (80%) tax on foreign investments. That might make them job creators here.

6. Paying customers create jobs. If Customers can't pay, jobs go away. |
