Somewhat in jest, today Thom said what some of us have been expressing already.
"Maybe I (Obama) can't pull this off. Maybe I should leave this for Howard Dean."
The implication was that Obama should not run in 2012 and the Dems run Dean instead.

I suggested this before he became President. I suggested that someone like Biden as President and Obama as the VP would have given him the necessary experience to be an effective leader. I was roundly criticized for the suggestion.
