The Bush tax cuts were in effect when the unemployment jumped from 9.6% to 9.8%...
Just this past month.

The Bush tax cuts have been in effect for the last 2 years as this recession has ravaged the homes of millions of Americans. What did it do for these people?

In fact, the Bush tax cuts have been in effect for almost 10 years and what do we have to show for them? We had the smallest growth rate in decades and we added $4 trillion dollars to the debt.

It's a "no-brainer" if there ever was one. We need to get rid of these destructive tax cuts and put our economy on a sound foundation.

Democrats have no reason to run scared. They should stand strong and make a decision for the middle class and for our country. They should not fold on this issue.

Mr President, the people are watching. Very closely.

3. Agreed.
In fact the Bush tax cuts are WHY we are in this mess (in addition to outsourcing).

These charts tell it all:

Continuing the Bush tax cuts also contributes to the deficits.

The Republicans are not only hypocrites but very evil.

4. Copy of letter to TN Senators
Edited on Sat Dec-04-10 01:05 PM by Tippy
“We’ve heard endless braying from the Republicans time after time demanding an extension of tax cuts for the rich in this country,”

Why you ask? BECAUSE.....They want a tax cut for the rich because they want a tax cut for themselves. All but a very few are millionairs..

Talk about GREED.

Senators Corker and Alaxander...when Santa asks have you been good this past year. I know you will tell him the truth, because that is what all good little Republicans tell him, yes, Santa we've been good..... to ourselves. We work hard and play fair, we tell no lies except for maybe a little white one here and there. We know the Bush Tax Cuts did nothing to create jobs the first nine years. but this time they will work, you can believe us.

This time you will see a dramatic boost our economy. We plan to do better job of creating jobs, if you just give us another chance, we know that the fast food industry, is going to be hiring real soon. By the way we will have to make some budget cuts you know, like to Social Security and a few other areas, we may need to cut some from the Health Care. We are fighting to to extend the Bush tax cuts for America’s top earners. because, they deserve them.

Show us all these jobs that were created...Please

9. Thanks...
And I think a lot of Democrats are looking at the leadership of the President on this issue. He could turn it all around if he shows the right leadership.
