The MPAA Bans Bereavement Poster

The MPAA are out in force once again and this time it isn't the actual film, but the poster. Steven Mena's prequel Bereavement hasn't gone before the powers that be, yet, but their poster has it's been hit with a major blow. Thanks to the guys over at Fangoria, they recently managed to catch up with Steven Mena and got his thoughts on the whole proceedings.

Steven Mena "The MPAA has banned the poster for depicting a child holding a weapon,” Mena tells Fango. “It’s hugely disappointing, because that poster really encapsulated the plot of the film with an intriguing image. It’s a real setback for us, considering the challenges we already face competing for attention with a small budget.”
