not just a few billion? It wasn't a weather disaster but it was definitely a disaster.

3. there were also bad droughts in the late 70`s
one year it was "snirt" snow with and dirt mixed together. that spring i watched the fields blow away and bad crops. the following year we had 83inches of snow and horrific wind chills of 70 below.
