Anyone buying made in America products
for Christmas? I read yesterday several links to places to buy American made items. I bookmarked some but not all. If you can find the links this should be posted again. I for one going to Lockrobot for my grandchildren, this is for Early Childhood and and older children.

I am also thinking of buying the Bio Green that Ed Shultz advertises on his show for gifts. I bought a quart and love it. It is amazing as advertised and their is not an odor- all I can say it is great. Sprayed Bio Green on some spots that would not come out, it came out does not discolor carpet.

I was a fan of Ed's but he is pushing me away but this product is truly awesome and made in America.

6. That is a good idea. There is a church across the street from me
that is going to have a fundraiser selling cookies. I think I am going to spend some money there.

27. We've (family) been doing that for 3 years now.
The kids get some gift certificates or cash, everyone else gets wine/ baked goods/ soaps....

No more useless sh*t from China for Christmas in my extended family.

24. NO just quality. Plastic dog shit comes from china, CT or MRI scanners and software
reactor pressure vessels, aircraft engines, scuba gear, high end machine tools. Anything that may kill you if it malfunctions is generally made in the US. walmart trash is made by cheap chinese labor.

you hit on the number one biggest thing we can do. If everyone would start buying American, and better yet local, we could turn things around. It's hard for people to believe how much impact these seemingly little (but really huge) steps can mean but every time you buy something you are voting. You can choose to vote American or you can choose to vote for an overseas job. You can choose animal cruelty or not. You can choose safe for the environment or not. The power is in our hands but it's hard to believe for many people. Imagine if EVERYONE just started voting American with EVERY purchase. The impact would be felt before nightfall.

The latest "free trade" agreement a.k.a. "unilateral U.S. Economic disarmament" will not help the cause. But we soldier on as individual consumers since our buying choices can add up to a powerful economic force. Here is one site that sells union made clothes so it offers some assurance it's not one of those GOP style a.k.a. "totally fraudulent" AstroTurf Mariana's operations: www.allamericanclothing.com

20. American products should be boycotted.
If we are going to boycott Whole Foods for not wanting Health Care Reform, then we should definitely boycott American made goods.

23. Buying stuff? If I could buy stuff, I'd be looking...
...for Made in America. I've sent my family links to websites for Made in America products.

I'd be very *lucky* (isn't that a cruel irony) if I get my unemployment extension.

28. Look For Handmade Soaps
Many are small companies. Their quality and honest ingredients are way above the store/mass produced brands. There are cities like Asheville N.C. that have many hand made shops from soap to candles etc. I looked up glycerin soaps and found several good options to pick from.
