This Economy Sucks Hard -Rant One Hundred Eighty Nine
All my fiancee and I want are jobs commensurate with our skills, experience, and education and for my struggling business to improve. It's seems wanting these thing nowadays are as fanciful as wanting the proverbial "pony". All our lives we have "worked hard and played by the rules" , got the education, garnered the necessary experience, honed our skills, and showed up to work on time.

For that I lost most of my business, car, and home, and she lost a job where she was performing admirably because the new owner decided to move her and her colleagues position to Texas from Florida and fill it with existing staff.

Everyday we peruse craigslist, monster, and careerbuilder for jobs. We network with friends, old, and new, We send out unsolicited resumes and wait. Waiting is the hardest part.

Did I tell you this economy sucks hard.

1. Yeah, for all the happy talk about recovery
It is neither recovering nor improving. In fact, we're making things worse by pretending that we're in recovery.

6. Well....
a) The official line from the beltway is that the economy is still fragile, but on the mend, and;

b) The numerous cooked-books 'news' articles that support this claim.

2. The economy improved for banksters and the corporate aristocracy.
I hate to tell you this but....you don't matter to this economy. I don't matter to this economy. We are of no import.

We are of such little worth that the economy can improve while we remain unemployed.

We will never matter until we make some noise.

So far no one has really been complaining. The unemployed and poor suck it up and disappear into the woodwork. Until the mases of people, us who are suffering, get up and scream, nothing will be done to improve our lot.
