Latest GOP talking point to watch for - "Democrats are still fighting the election"

Any show of strength, or pushback by the Dems will be met with this generic phrase, or a variation like "hey, the election is over".

I first heard it from Boner, with his "chickenshit" remark: "The election was one month ago. We're 23 months from the next election and the political games have already started, trying to set up the next election."

and more recently from McCain after Harry Reid ripped him on DADT: "Perhaps someone should inform the majority leader the election is over."

A snarky, meaningless retort, but it's what they're going with. Watch for more.
