We are now operating with the new congress. This "lame duck" session is done. |
|
The republicans control the senate and house now. DADT Repeal is dead. New START ratification is dead. No republican senator will support either of those two except Lugar on START.
What we see now is what we will have until January 2013 when it will get many times worse.
There is absolutely nothing that the President can do now except veto the trash that will come his way from the republicans and their "Democratic" friends.

7. That's optimistic, but the republican stance is No Compromise on anything. Hope you |
|
are right, but the teabaggers are running the show now and it's a different congress. Also I didn't mention that I believe the DREAM Act is also dead. They just don't want any legislative or foreign policy advances for the President.
