Why does this man have so much power?

What does it say about America that Mitch McConnell owns the keys to America's house and car?

He's a loathsome guy. He's in the minority, and will still be minority leader next year.

My spidey sense is that he should be laughed off the planet as a corporate tool, a sellout, and a crybaby. Instead, he seems to be the most important man on the planet.

Why is this?

Why is the Senate Minority Leader driving the Congressional agenda in this lame duck session?

Why are the media falling all over him?

Why?

2. Has a unified force behind him. That's everything. Obama, Reid, Pelosi will
never have that.

the progressive voices go after him like they go after Obama. I bet they go after Obama and hear very little of him.

11. Great question
This empty shell of a man is the one Bush wrote about. Dumbya said he asked him to withdraw troops from Iraq because the war in Iraq was a problem for the RETHUGS electoral chances.

The media hasn't even asked him about that - one more fucking free pass. The neo-con agenda must not be stopped.

19. Well, there's this portrait of him hidden away,
dated back to when he signed away his soul in his yute. The painting suddenly became unbearable to look at, even when people were given strong warnings. Today, it also gives off hideous sulphuric odors and strange smoke, it drips blood quite regularly. There also seems to be a collection of pus around the edge of the painting, as though the very canvas is rebelling against the image it contains.

Once, they tried collecting the constant blood before it turned black and putrid. They used it for a transfusion, but the result was Rickie Santorum, so they never tried that again.

27. It Says that Our Senate Majority Exists Only on Paper
The "blue dogs" can be relied upon to vote with the Repigklickins every time it really matters so the Repiggies have a working majority.
