Most members of the House of Representatives and the Senate have promised to create more jobs for Americans. They can't "create more jobs" with empty promises. What they can do is create laws that reduce trade deficits. This will not happen until US voters demand that our representatives in Washington DC keep their promises. We must sign petitions, make phone calls and send emails to these politicians - if we want to repair our economy.
The main problem with our economy is large multinational corporations that employ extremely affordable labor in China and then export the products to the US.

7 of the 11 sub-indices were higher than their respective levels in the previous month. The output index continued its upward trend and improved by 1.4 ppt. from the previous month, suggesting that China’s industrial production growth will reaccelerate very soon. In November, the new orders index stayed high at 58.3% and the new export orders index rebounded to 53.2%, the highest in 6 months, indicating strengthening domestic and foreign demand.
