4. Oh, geez. To the impressionable born agains, a big time pastor = rock star.
Some men and women are as star struck with them as any Almost Famous groupie.

Many have confessed, like this guy and Robison, often after they've been exposed (no pun intended) or about to be exposed. Many more have hinted at it broadly, like Dwight Thompson.

But, Christians are conveniently aware that everyone sins, so they forgive--and continue to donate. Halleluluyer.

5. They are getting kindler in gentler in Dallas. In the day, pastors would just kill their wives.
Or at least choke them into comas believing they were dead.

8. On the bright side, it wasn't with a man or a transvestite!
Though they shared few details, one of their marriage counselors, Fred Kendall, did provide some specifics.

'With a woman'

"He had had one inappropriate period of misbehavior, with one person, and it wasn't a man. It wasn't a transvestite. It was with a woman," Kendall said during the broadcast.

9. he went on to say "a Christian woman, or at least she said she was..
I'm paraphrasing, but not by much. Jerk said it like (of course) it was the woman who was at fault

I couldn't bring myself to listen to it again, for the exact quote, since I almost killed my teevee when I heard it the first time.

12. "He had had one inappropriate period of misbehavior..."
Or in the more direct parlance, he was fucking a woman other than his wife.
