Well, I'll be damned! Joe Scarborough said today that tax cuts for the rich don't create jobs! |
|
What the hell is going on?
Something is up with this guy...alluva sudden he's agreeing (basically) with Paul Krugman (and every other sentient creature in this country).
Is this "about face" a good thing or is there something inherently evil behind it?
(I don't trust republicans on anything...so this has to be suspect, IMO)...

1. If he is saying Obama is going to back down, then he has to switch course |
|
Now, he'll question why Obama is backing down, because cutting taxes does NOT create jobs.
I cannot tolerate that man.

Sadly, I agreed with just about everything he said this morning.

In order to convince the LIV's - you have to have Beck, Huck, Palin, O'Reilly saying it . . . these folks don't watch MSNBC and they certainly don't listen to ANYONE other than that crew for 'how to think and believe'.

ultimate ulterior motive king!!! If he agrees with the President its because he already knows the compromise is in and his job has been done!!Don't forget he was one of the ones saying "this is not a time to raise taxes on anybody during a recession" After countless e-mails and the President signaling another compromise his tune changed. Not to mention some middle-class repugs who now see the light since the Bush Tax cuts are front and Center. Remember you have some of them who are truly worried about the country's debt. They have been fed this talking point since forever. So they honestly believe in the National Debt. But they have found out that the party in which they belong does not. And there are some"lazy" republicans on unemployment.:sarcasm: I think the message is getting through. Especially since November 30,has come and gone and December 31, is quickly approaching.:fistbump: :fistbump: :fistbump:

7. That's because good Reichwingers know that tax cuts for the rich are a good in themselves |
|
and need never, in conversations among the well brought up, to be justified by something so crass and dirty as a job for a undeserving poor person. That kind of contingency would make jobs for the poor into the greater good, and demotes tax cuts for the rich into a mere subsidiary good, which are tolerated only insofar as they give rise to the former. A good Reichwinger knows that is all backward! Jobs for the poor are a matter of indifference at best in public policy, and privately every RWer finds the topic vulgar & distasteful - like handling cash at a restaurant. No, tax cuts have nothing to do with jobs, and even less to do with poor people out of work. Taxes ought to be incrementally cut for rich people at regular intervals, just so nobody is allowed to forget who's the boss of you.

8. But the other meme they push and many people agree with, is that hey, I'll be rich someday |
|
and I wouldn't want taxes to go up on me! I know and you know that they are being foolish to believe this garbage, but it seems almost unpatriotic for them NOT to. Only when the "american dream" has thrown them into the street will they get a glimmer of sense in their heads...it's too bad, but I'm afraid it's the truth....problem is, it brings down the rest of us, too...:-(
