the tax sell out is a done deal, and how awful a deal or if it's just looking likely. Talk to me like I'm an exhausted 12 hour shifter. What the hell is going on?

2. You're going to let someone else interpret for you?
And decide for you what you think?

3. I think he's looking for the short story before he goes to bed.
And I don't blame him.

7. Nope, just wanted a short answer instead of the barrage of half cocked
rage I came home to.

The signal to noise ratio was too high after a busy night at work.

I need to remember that for some things, DU sucks.

4. From what I can tell there has been no news.
Obama is supposed to give some speech today asking to tie an extension of tax cuts to the wealthy with extended unemployment for the used to be middle class. Just got off the phone with my Dem senators office and that is all they have heard as well. Don't feel bad. People out here are posting so much crap it is hard to tell what is going on!

5. They are in negotiations over it.
They had a vote on extending the middle class tax cuts alone. Passed in the House, killed in the Senate.

It is expected that Republicans will give up unemployment extensions for 1 year for the tax cuts for the rich for 2 more years.
