Poll question: What threatens your freedoms most?
When I was a GI back in the early '60s I was told that the Russians and Cubans were going to take away our freedoms. Later it was the Vietnamese, Cambodians, and Laotians that I was supposed to be willing to kill to prevent them from taking over my freedom. Funny thing happened, when I and a bunch of other ex-GIs walked peacefully around the Federal Building in L.A. a lot of cops circled us in cars holding up shotguns and some other guys in nice suits were snapping pictures of us. None of them were Cuban, Russian, Vietnamese, Cambodian, or Laotian. When a bunch of us got together to talk things over on the campus of Cal State Northridge, we got chased around by American cops. No Russians, Cubans, Vietnamese, Cambodians or Laotians.

So, I'm wondering, what threatens your freedom more?

10. Yup, that would be globalisation -
the only silver lining in globalisation is that it does break down boundaries, and that may be helpful in enacting socialism on a worldwide basis.

11. It's not just globalism
If globalism was enacted ethically, there would be world standards on pollution, on human rights, on fair pay for fair work.

But it wasn't

The people that *control* the media are our worst threat.
