It's all about narrative... What choice did he have? |

The GOP (and MSM) knows how to frame it, and unfortunately the Democratic powers that be do not.
What choice do they really have on the tax cuts?
Republicans have them over a barrel. People are losing their homes, can't put food on the table and worse. The Republicans will not compromise and they know that with help from the MSM they can spin the administration not giving tax cuts for the rich into "they hate the unemployed."
This shouldn't shock anybody. They've done it time and time again. And the simple fact is that there is no way to get a bill through that helps the people who need help without a bill that helps people who obviously do not.
The average struggling person right now does NOT care how they make the rent. They don't care if rich get richer. They care about not being out in the cold with their families.
While I don't like this one bit, I understand there is no way around it. It is sad. It is disgusting. But unfortunately it is the very very sad sate of this country right now.
