7. The only reason we're in this situation is that the Dems are ineffective
EVEN with near historic majorities for two years

8. Actually, everyone gets 2 years of money. The unemployed, the employed, those at the poverty line,

those above the poverty line, everyone.

The child tax credit alone for a family of 4 is an extension of 2k per year (not even considering the rate difference, the earned income tax credit difference, etc).

10. Yeah, but at what price? A deeper depression? I'm not some sort of "free ride" lazy couch bum
but as the saying goes. The price we pay for a civilized society is taxes.

We are basically allowing the RICH of this land eat and party on the peons dime.

In 6 months... 12 months from now how far into a "recession" will we be in OR will be actually admit we are in a DEPRESSION.

If my wife and I by some crazy miracle win the Powerball (That's if we have enough money to buy one ticket) We would expect a healthy chunk to go to taxes to better our fellow citizens and would be proud for it to happen.

Yes, everyone gets the "bush tax cuts" for another 2 years but WHO did those tax cuts really helped?

13. No, the deeper depression would have come if we took thousands away from families at the poverty
