Given the gravity of what could have happened to 2 million people and their families. You talk a lot about blinking, and winning, and losing. I'm not hating on obama for any other reason than I expected more of the man. he's a smart, intelligent, rational human being. hell, and he picked joe biden, my favorite senator, as his VP.

the problem is everyone making excuses for it, sometimes there are no excuses. its not simply enough sometimes to just take things as is. sometimes you have to hold your leaders accountable and hold them to a standard of greatness you expect out of them. a leader should lead with strength, conviction, determination, and a willingness to sacrifice.

so far, all we've been asked is to sacrifice so the republicans can have what they want.

it's been a disappointment to see someone who should have a higher standard applied to them simply throw down their hands to get punched every time. if he doesn't want the job anymore, quit. if he doesn't have the will anymore, quit. its better to have a leadership crisis than simply just go along with the shit that mitch mcconnell is shoving down onto everything.
