There has been very little leadership on this issue. A lot of noise, true enough. But very little leadership.

John McCain is opposed. He's a military guy, so what he says matters a lot. :eyes:

repubicans don't want it. Actually, that isn't true. They don't really care. They actually don't like or dislike it; all they do is oppose it on political grounds.

But most importantly, with friends like these, what can we expect?

Once the Dems start rolling, they don't stop until they fly off the cliff.

To say nothing of personal animus toward the notion of gay equality.

2. I'd be surprised if it happens, but the lipstick sales associated with the end

of this year's hopes for DADT should be good for the economy.
