Joe Scarborough unveils Republican campaign talking point
Obama is not serious about deficit reduction because he just added one trillion to the deficit by renewing the bush tax cuts for the wealthy.

As dissapointed as I am, I am more pissed at the Democrats in Congress.

5. Yes he did!
And I hope that if that the Rethugs actually try to use that tactic the Dems come back hard against them with holding unemployed Americans hostage!

6. Thanks for the confirmation.
Shouldn't really surprise anyone that they traded in their "tax cuts for billionaires" card for the "deficit" card. They won't need their "tax cuts" card again until Fall of 2012. They're so transparent. At least to some of us.

11. But they suck at 11-D chess
The chess master will beat them in the end. He has a secret recipe for winning: Preemptive surrender at every step.

2. AARRGG!
I love him, I REALLY do ...

But he just took a pair of aces and folded them against an off suit 2 and 7 ...

Does he or anyone thing for ONE second the Rs are not going to just RAVAGE him over the deficit AND the economy moving forward ...

It was a TERRIBLE, just disasterous policy in 2001, and it could go away without doing anything ...

3. Joe isn't very good at math.
But he is a clown who jumps from side to side depending on which way he thinks the political wind will blow him to an elected job again.

Pissed at congress? Good. Because that is where the bills have failed all along that put us into this situation.

4. This is exactly how it works
If Obama thinks he will gain points by any capitulation he is in denial. The Repugs will do exactly as Scarborough stated and, worse, they will accuse him of going back on promises and never standing up for his principles.
I fear that Obama is a lamb in the lion's den with no one to cover his back.

12. I didn't expect it in less than 24 hours
I figured it would be about a month. Clearly, the Rethugs are confident that the masses are stupid. Probably right.
