Just saw "Fair Game." Great movie and a real bummer.

Where DID we get the notion that bombing people would make us friends in the world? How COULD our fearless press have swallowed all the obvious lies?
Anyway, the acting is very fine and the guy who plays Scooter Libby made me want to hurl myself at the movie screen and tear him apart.
And I guess the biggest bummer for me is that I don't think we've really come out of it yet.
The movie should be required watching for all of us.

1. There should be a double feature

"Fair Game" followed by "Inside Job". Both excellent films about the death of the Republic.

3. Great movie!! I saw it on Sunday

I was a little disappointed that it sort of made Libby out to be the major bad guy when his conviction had more to do with lying and obstructing the investigation than being the actual culprit behind the leak - but I guess they had to be careful since he was the only one actually convicted. Otherwise, it was great and I highly recommend it. Extraordinary casting.
