Economics 101: Let's take $500 billion out of the economy

$383 billion tax from 98% of income earners (the Bush tax brackets)
$120 billion from the unemployed in benefits

Then see what happens.
(Clue- the Recovery Package was $787 billion over two years)

it's a $500 million contraction that WILL inflect untold misery on ordinary people, and the most vulnerable.

Maybe we can pin their misery on the GOP. It's still unconscionable.

5. That is on top of the millions of death and untold misery their policies have already foisted on the
people. There will be no change until the misery created by their policies is laid at their doorstep.

rolls. THE GOP blocks unemployment extensions because they are not paid for because the DEFICIT that THEY CREATED it TOO BIG.
The GOP will only allow a modest extension of the unemployment benefits
they say we can not afford because they are not paid for
IF we cut the rich a tax break of 7 Billion.
And you want to blame US for the problem?
