they won, we got what we should have gotten WITHOUT caving on the tax cuts for the 2%. And we will be borrowing yet again to pay for the scum wealthy to get their 'job producing' payoff. Bullshit, Why didn't they RAISE the ceiling on SS deductions too????

13 months of unemployment insurance for TWO FUCKING YEARS of tax cuts for the wealthy.

GIVE ME A FUCKING BREAK.

4. Ahha so we should take this laying down, swallow it, bend over
and let our masters teach us a lesson????

I don't think so.

This IS class warfare, and some of you here don't get it.

7. Doesn't matter what you or I believe
class warfare doesn't really turn elections anymore, so if you want that to change, you will have to convince the people to resent the 'rich' instead of just envy them.
You may try reframing it also, telling people they are entitled to what the 'rich' have doesn't seem to work.

11. Nope, sorry
but since I'm not trying to change the basic framework of our government, can't say that I have ever wanted to.

5. It was more than just unemployment insurance....
it was also the extension the earned income tax credit to benefit families, college tax credits, and a pay-roll tax cut. How conveniently you leave that out....By the way, more dollars are coming Obama's way then to the repubs with this deal....

9. Are you saying that...
unemployment insurance for another 13 months, extending the earned income tax credit to benefit families, college tax credits, and a pay-roll tax cut are just talking points and not facts? Not sure what you are trying to say....let's simply agree to disagree what are the talking points...have a nice day! :-)

10. We desperately need a real alternative.
Where are the non-profit news sources that are actually able to cover a goddamn nation? Screw this local shit... who is covering the big issues?

And no, CSpan isn't enough.
