4. I remember hearing these sorts of statements about a public option, too
I admire Sanders, but my guess is he'll do what he can until he also capitulates because his effort is having no effect.

5. Bernie fights for his constituents instead of compromising for them.
He's the best!

6. Now, let's see if the neo-pragmatist Obama will "compromise" with the left instead of his RW allies.

16. It's not Obama that will have to compromise, it's the congress.

Obama would love to sign a bill that doesn't include high-end tax cuts.

13. We'll see if any of our leading liberal lights stand with Sen. Sanders
They all scurried away during the health care sellout. Will anyone be found in the Senate to stand with Sen. Sanders to do what they know is right?

17. "The GOP are only getting started" - he talked about their real
agenda. Slashing SS and Medicare, education, raising the retirement age, etc. He's not talking about any bi-partisanship crap, he's talking about stopping them.

18. I'm with Bernie 100%. I think the so-called "grown-up"
deal Obama cut is a mistake that will set the stage for more harsh treatment of American families in the future. They will use immoral tactics to cut Medicare, Social Security, education and you can bet your ass they'll go after women and reproductive rights. We have to take a stand and let the son-of-a-bitches on the right take full responsibility for hurting the unemployed.
