Before you can make dinner, you have to GET the food |
|
Edited on Tue Dec-07-10 06:30 PM by SoCalDem
Now , if the food is being hoarded by...let's say "the greedy bastards", no amount of menu-planning, or describing the wonderful feast you plan to prepare is filling any bellies..UNTIL...you actually confront the greedy bastards and GET some of that food....take it home & cook it for YOUR family.
You could wheedle, beg & whine to the greedy bastards and hope they will invite you to dinner with them...but we all know that's never-gonna-happen..unless it;s to serve their meal & clean up..

9. Oddly enough, I understand exactly what she's talking about |

It's interesting you don't seem to.
Then again, women have been the ones to make "something out of nothing" since we were old enough to learn the cookin', cleanin' and childrearin' were primarily our jobs.
It's difficult to put a dinner on the table when there's no money to obtain that dinner with, for instance.

2. the greedy bastards will tell you that you are just lazy. |
|
you just don't work hard enough for that food. if you give them more tax breaks then the food will trickle down to everyone else.
