How to Remove Bumper Stickers
You know why, you just need to know how:

• Spray the sticker with a lubricant (such as WD40, or the Sticker Lifter product featured below) and try to peel it off. If this doesn't work, proceed to step two.

• Wet a rag in boiling hot water and soak the area where the bumper sticker is for 30 seconds or more. Similar to removing wallpaper from your home. Try and peel it off. If unsuccessful, continue on to the next step.

• Soften the adhesive with heat from a blow dryer. Start to peel off a corner of the sticker while continuing to apply heat, or gently scrape off the sticker with a rubber spatula or a putty knife with its metal blade wrapped in duct tape. Do not use a razor blade; it can scratch paint and bumpers.

• Wipe the remains of the sticker away with a soft, lint-free rag dampened with rubbing alcohol.

• Buff the bumper or panel with a polishing compound and a fresh coat of wax to complete the job.

Good luck, see you in 2012!

I don't want to spend money send it - I may just drive it all down to Michael Bennet office - he was all for extending Bush tax cuts for 1 - 2 years.

I'd rather have a President who knows when to stand on principle and when to get results than to constantly pick fights when people's livelihoods are teetering on the brink.

9. Any oil-based substance will work to remove stickers
I use baby oil to remove price tags from items that are sensitive to scratches. Just put enough on the sticker for it to be absorbed and wait a bit, then simply peel off.

Paint thinner and acetone can also come in handy. There are a lot of different adhesives used on stickers.

The president can go capitulate with the Republicans all he wants, after 2012 he can damn well do it with his own dime, on his own time.

Not on mine. Not anymore.

40. You can cover it with any number of stickers they will hate more. I just added a "Turn Off Fox"

sticker to my truck recently. I've only gotten positive comments on it so far, but I live in a pretty liberal area.

The "Alan Grayson for President 2012" is a good one too, and if you place it directly over your Obama sticker you won't even have to worry about removing it.

I just removed my Obama and Yes we did bumper sticker. Sad to do it. My republican co-workers will probably think I removed them for different reasons.

I just wish it wasn't 20 degrees outside. I finally got them off - the oil did help make them less brittle but not perfectly.

I still like Obama - just really really disappointed. Sometimes I think it will be nice to just be anonymous - no stickers at all - will keep it that way for awhile. I just can't get excited about politics anymore. We fought and fought to get the majority and while it's better than the alternative, it just doesn't matter when the majority won't fight for what they believe in.

If the congress fights against this maybe I'll still have some hope. I was a big Obama supporter from the beginning, but now sort of think maybe Hillary should have won - I guess no telling if she would have fought more - somehow I think so.

I hope he proves me wrong in the future.
