The only power they have over us, is the power we LET them have over us!
All of this shit is a mind game. That's all it is.
If enough of us realize the truth at the same time, that this is the vast majority's world, the people at the top have lost their power. The truth is the most contagious virus in the history of humanity. It spreads faster than even wildfire, and it is unstoppable. Especially in a world so connected as ours. You don't need to wait months for a ship to arrive carrying news, you can send it around the world almost instantaneously.
With every new information technology comes the possibility of greater manipulation of a populace AND most importantly, greater freedom from manipulation.
What's happening now is the push back. For the early part of this century, we saw how easily we can be manipulated with this new technology. How we can be whipped into a frenzy over absolute nonsense, like the whole Iraq war. We've seen that now. We know what can be done.
What can be done to counteract it?
That's what's beginning. The technology we have is opening doors to whole new world for WE THE PEOPLE, not THOSE THE RULERS!

2. TV was one way, the internet is two way. |

They're fucked. :P
Who would have thought that something created by DARPA would eventually end up destroying the government that funds DARPA. It's really the end for this shit. Something new is on the way, it would stupid not to take advantage of such a new and wonderful technology. I wonder what it will be in the long run.

most of us are infinitely disposable in our corporate controlled country. Yet we all have certain very basic needs: food, clothing, shelter, hygiene, etc. Those corporate powers have no use for truth tellers and will do whatever is necessary to silence them. They effectively black-ball self-employed and small business folks because they are "too independent," "not adequately compliant to external authority," or "incapable of succeding in the corporate world." Their opinion of educators and intellectuals is no better. And God help you if you earn a livlihood in the creative arts.
I've got nothing against truthtelling but knowing the truth and being able to effect meaningful change are two very different things.

4. There are critical aspects of this now. |

Information gathering and dissemination by the people is even more essential as the efforts to suppress dissent and freedom of thought increase markedly. Flexible change and action are also on the menu.
The DHS has been rolling-out new technology for a while and they are ramping-up the stakes when it comes to our natural rights. What is most alarming is that these technologies are invasive and also appear to be a tool for intimidation. F
Fatherland Suckurity appears to be declaring a covert war on We the People by turning its war mechanism inwardly, implying that we are the potential terrorists in their sights. The DHS is clearly behaving like a neo-Stasi agency and now working with Walmart and other major outlets to transmit Stasi-like propaganda.
Look-up the DHS technology for more details on x-ray vans, FAST, etc. The vans are already in use and the FAST units will be used at large events, (sports, music, etc.) It is outrageous and makes you wonder what comes next. There is a dark-side to technology and the new stuff is making Big Bro look rather wimpy.
Our ability to expand our own choices and make them progressively to effect changes everyday is part of the transformation needed. With choices come more flexibility. Gain and change can, and should, be seen as potentially fast, empowering and even enjoyable.
The onus is on us to actually be and create the change we need, now. The time is growing nigh.

And oh so well at that. I'm already shaking, but I'll check the vans.
