Barney Frank just said, categorically, that he will not vote for Obama's capitlative deal.
Jim Demint has said the same thing, obviously for different reasons.

Obama needs to decide with whom he stands.

5. odd that -- same as Tarp, and same as the Stimulus Package
Backroom deals we are supposed to sign with blindfolds. This is starting to smell even worse.

2. Tell me again how Obama is hampered by Congress.
They're trying to pull him back somewhere toward the middle to save their own political careers, and he's off dancing happily on the right.

6. Harry Reid also believes that the Great Cave doesn't have enough votes in the Senate.
I think there are maybe 12 Dems that will vote for the bill, but they need something like 18 to prevail on cloture.

With Dems like the conservative Mary Landrieu and Wall Street fave Chuck Shumer indicating their displeasure with the bill, I think it will end up with even less support than the middle class tax cut passed by the House.
