My opinion is that since we are a majority, |

we should do something about the GOP propaganda machine that is the evening news. At least put in the fairness doctrine or require they put forth disclosure statements they are giving a point of view.

Not only with the fairness doctrine- but also with media consolidation.
Much of what we see today, we have him to thank for. Nice job, Bill (and special props to your appointee, Micheal Powell).

Remember another important componant is to regulation...there are 5 owners of all major news media in this country....
A breakup of these large media corporations is due....there should be room for a new CNN type media company to come to market

As corporations, they are actually required to do so by law. Unless someone comes up with a way to fund a non-profit news station, we're pretty well fucked.
