Facebook and Twitter haven't shut down crap
Edited on Wed Dec-08-10 07:56 PM by TNLib
The minute they shut down one facebook page or twitter account the hackers open up another facebook page or twitter account.
Unless Twitter and Facebook take themselves off line they ain't taken down shit.

2. Quite frankly they're not going to be able to stop this
There's also 4chan other sites where the hackers and hacker wanna be's can go and coordinate attacks. The only way that twitter and facebook can get out of the game is if they take themselves out.

7. Basically the hackers can be anyone from anywhere in the world
They could be participating for any reason and they may not even be that computer savey. They see the instructions on facebook twitter ect... follow the instuctions. Once facebook or twitter shut down an account a new account pops up.

Because of the easy nature in which twitter and facebook allow users to open accounts and start facebook pages in minutes there is no way they can stop the hackers
from useing their social networking sites to give out instructions unless they take themselves offline.

8. Twitter...the great outlet for the nonviolent demonstrations against a corrupt Iranian government...
Now shutting down an outlet for a nonviolent demonstration against a corrupt cabal of Western governments.

What's the difference to the corporations and the State Department? Oh wait...we love demonstrations, as long as they're not against America!

I'm guessing twitter and facebook are trying to make it look like they are doing something to stop this for liability reasons.
