Lately, I've been trying to think of a way to make the world hate America less... |

All the anti-Americanism you see overseas got me thinking...the world pretty much hates us for being the most powerful country in the world and starting all these wars, so it'd seem like a simple task of not invading anyone anymore and being a weak country.
But then I started thinking about the consequences of a weak America. NATO will be dissolved so Europe will be on their own now. Same thing with Japan and South Korea too. Trade is going to drop so there's going to be a lot of screwed up economies everywhere. Foreign aid being cut off to Africa will be bloody. Israel on its own in the Middle East just isn't going to end well. And most important of all, China and Russia will become aggressive and struggle to become the new hyperpower and will start some wars of their own.
So tl;dr - isn't the world going to hate America more once we're gone because of the huge mess that we leave behind?

The world is unhappy with the US, in part, because of the number of resources that the US steals, and the fact that you have been waging economic war on the third world through the IMF, too. It's not just physical wars (although that's true too), it's the economic wars and the presumption of superiority that has the world angry with you.
And nothing will bring the third world back to the way it was before the US decided that siting manufacturing plants on farmland was the best way for the third world to pay off its massive debt, either. It's an amazing mess, and 'global capitalism" is a sham.

2. We could stop bombing them at will... you know, just for starters |
|
and there are so many other things we could do, without being 'weak'.
It doesn't take strength to kill. Killing is a sign of weakness and cowardice in and of itself.
It takes strength to be compassionate, empathetic and enlightened.

The hate was there before the "wars". NATO wouldn't fall apart without the US, it would simply become more of a peace keeper and Europe is just fine on it's own. Why would trade drop? We don't have a super army and still manage to send foreign aid and peace keepers to other countries.
As for your real question, Yes, come or go, We do hate the huge mess you have left behind.

4. Sometimes I think we are hated as much for what our corporations do... |
|
I've heard some pretty sad stories over the years about various multinational corporations that are considered to be U.S. companies. Big businesses don't always act in humane or decent ways.
