The new revelation that she uses an alias (Bernardin) will not exactly help Ms. Anna Ardin stifle suspicions. To the best of my knowledge, that is not her middle name. It is natural for some people to use their middle name sometimes.

The fact is that intelligence agents use aliases often.

And the young lady sure does travel a lot. Now she's headed to West Bank, as part of her "Christian mission."
