George Wesley Ellington: Sheriff's Deputy's Drug Business Was Family Affair, Feds Say

In October we told you about Harris County Sheriff's Deputy George Wesley Ellington, who moonlighted, federal prosecutors said, in the ecstasy business.
The feds say he took bribes and helped drug dealers distributing the drug.

New indictments came down today, and not only were more charges added against the 38-year-old former deputy, but his wife, Katrise Tania Ellington, 31, was charged with aiding and abetting the enterprise.

Katrise Ellington was arraigned this morning and released on a $25,000 bond.

George Ellington's indictment accuses him of taking a $1,000 bribe "to provide protection for two loads of " and for getting confidential information from county computers; aiding and abetting the distribution of the drug and using a firearm while doing it.

Well, how else are you going to protect two loads of X?

Doesn't this look like the face of a man who just loves everybody?
