Lawrence O'Donnell to Grayson your wrong
http://thelastword.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2010/12/09/5617948-lawrence-to-grayson-youre-wrong

For the past few nights, we've featured liberal panelists to discuss Obama's controversial tax cut deal. The compromise with Republicans would extend the Bush tax cuts by two years in exchange for a one-year extension of unemployment benefits.

As many of you have noticed, Lawrence is very very passionate about this subject. Makes sense considering he actually used to write U.S. tax law when he worked for Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan. Check out last night's lively debate with Congressman Alan Grayson,

2. First of all...
when did KO leave Countdown? And secondly, is Lawrence O' Donnell KO's agent?

Lawrence O' Donnell is the only person in the media that understand the horrible consequences of not agreeing to the tax cut deal. The people that will be hurt the worst are those in the 10% tax bracket. If the deal is not reached their taxes go up by 50%!!!!!

4. I'm in the 10% bracket. My taxes going up may be a big hit but the richie riches of the world need

to be forced to pay their fair share as well.

6. I would guess they are stuck on split the baby concept.
Edited on Thu Dec-09-10 02:59 PM by RandomThoughts
The argument for all capitulation is split the baby.

The problem is in our society, the social judges and leaders rarely make the view with the wisdom of Solomon.

If the Democrats give money to the rich to protect the poor. Or if they give up a winning argument to help the people, where is the 'honorable judge' seeing that and correcting the issue?

The problem with our society is that when split the baby comes up, the side that is most ruthless walks away with your baby.

Our society does not practice the wisdom of Solomon and redistribute when some brutal person tries to claim something not theirs with a threat of harm and damage.

The rich say they will crash the economy and hurt people if they don't get what they say is theirs, many people say they never earned it and it is not theirs. Then some say they can have their tax cuts to keep the poor alive.

Where is Solomon correcting the problem of those taking by brutal tactics? where is the redistribution of the dollars stolen by threats on society? They show they do not deserve such things.

In my belief there is a better judge, and I believe in justice that is why I do not believe their threats will lead to people starving.

Also why I don't believe in using fear, although I don't think the baby will be split either. Since if they don't follow the justice of Solomon, they wont have the power of his sword.

My point is they use the Solomon argument without ever using the enforcement that Solomon used in judgment after the first part of that story, so they use that argument without the better spirit of justice, and let the brutal walk away wrongly.

Also why I think justice should be restored, and why the 'split the baby' idea can only be used, if you have an enforcement group that will correct the situation helping someone that is giving and kind even in hardship.

Also why half of justice is enforcement, and laws that are not enforced with equal justice and compassion don't really exist.

12. The Rich say they will crash
the economy if they don't get what is theirs- We really should help them by doing just that and let them meet their margin call.Let the tax cuts pass let their precious markets rise and then Take Our Money Back!!!Pull it out of their bank, out of their investment banking, stop buying their products, pay utilities as timely as possible to avoid any extra fees, car pool, walk short distances, garden (they are trying to make it illegal for backyard gardens). Work together and hire each other let them know how it feels to be left in the cold!!!!It can be done!!! I don't mind being on the side of DAVID. Solomon took to much time, he already had everything and was quite wealthy. And today he would have known who the mother was because of DNA and the perpetrator would have a well whipped ass!!
