Today students attacked Charles and Camilia
Today students attacked Charles and Camilla.
Students, facing higher fees for higher education,
Education imperiled by simple lack of wealth
Wealth placing Charles and Camilla above concerns.

These limousine lords rolling over streets
Streets where bloodied students demand.
Demand that the wealthy pay their share
Share in the misery their greed caused
Because they gambled with their wealth.

It is the poor that pay for wealthy risk,
Risk their existence to take a stand
Standing under fire lit clouds with signs
Calling for risk takers to pay the fees
Fees incurred by unconscionable greed.

Charles and Camilla remain unharmed
Harm to poor students remains untended.

5. The last two lines were written to show a contrast between...
the comfort that wealth affords, moving unscathed through tumult, and that the students hurts remain untended.

6. "Limousine Lords"
Congratulations to the UK - they're getting Rush'd.

The tuition increases suck, but I doubt that's the fault of people like Chuckles; more likely Rupert Murdoch and whatever their equivalents to Limpballs, the Chamber of Commerce, Rove, et al are up to.

7. Where I agree it is not their fault, they are a nice symbol to tear down...
of the rich who sacked the system and are not paying for the problems that led us here.

There are a lot of people on this forum who would like to see the rich taken down. They haven't started rioting in the streets yet.

Relatively speaking, the modern nobles do a great deal of good for the poor. But they are still symbols and students there are too angry to really think it through. They will lash out at anyone who appears to be of the privileged class.

8. Actually modern-day nobles have been left alone for many decades
so this is crossing a line... not crossed since the Glorious Revolution if memory serves.

9. Relatively speaking, the modern nobles should be horsewhipped in public
Their act got old about 225 years ago.

11. I see no problem with nobles in England...as long as the English like it.
I have a problem with inherited nobility here, as did the founding fathers.

I didn't follow the link before, but now I see it's for the NY Daily News.

Prince and Princess caught with their mouths open, and a protester with his head bleeding on the ground. The story sucks, not enough detail.
