AARP Magazine Cover, "George W. Bush, New Life, No Regrets", makes me very angry |
|
I'm not a member as I'm still to young to be however, I saw this magazine cover today and find it infuriating that an organization that says it represents seniors and retirees has the criminal head of a GOP that has declared it intends to destroy Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid, along with any form of social net for all, not just senior, Americans.
Not to mention the repeatedly proven facts that Bush and his entire cabinet are guilty of war crimes, torture, WMD conspiracy to commit war and numerous other acts of retaliation, obstruction of justice, election tampering and illegal propaganda of massive proportions.
I pick my battles as many infuriating things are just a waste of time in our largely corrupt society but damn, putting a war criminal head of a party that wants to destroy everything seniors have ever worked for is just pathetic.

4. They're bastardizing themselves by putting him on there. |

Meanwhile, our seniors (including my mom) go another year without a SS increase, while their taxes go up. Brilliant.
Dubya is a war criminal in my book too, plain and simple. And every bit so as a Ratko Mladic, or anyone else of that calibre. The fact that he allowed that kind of torture to go on under his nose and those of his military leaders is inexcusable. And there was photographic proof of it EVERYWHERE. Meanwhile, he sat his tookus out in Crawford for weeks at a time. He just hasn't been convicted, and may never be, sadly. It stinks that Clinton gets impeached for getting caught with his pants down, but this creep literally gets away with allowing the torture and killing of countless people, innocent or not.
