Ever have a day where your brain is overdosed by news?
I think I'm either having a nervous breakdown or I've just taken in so much shit news today that death looks like a happy out.

I can't take another two years of this!!!!!!!!!!!!

2. I Made Myself Leave The House
today.
Otherwise I was gonna have a stroke from all the nauseating news coming out of Washington.

3. Take a break.
Step back and breathe. It's not worth stressing out about. Yeah, things are bad with no signs of it getting better anytime soon. Time to accept that fact. A lot of it you can't control, so no need getting worked up over it.

5. No. Next question.
You need to FILTER.

You need to learn to sort news reports into:

1.) Irrelevance
2.) Bullshit
3.) Totally expected
3.) Actual, real, honest to goodness shit I never even suspected

and

4.) Holy SHIT.

6. I have a book sitting at my side. I'd like to read it.
But I feel like I can't look away form news. It feels like history is happening and I need to bear witness to it.
