3. Not enough
Whoever cuts his hair does a terrible job. He's got a slight wave and I would imagine a goofy whorl. One must cut the hair in harmony with the natural growth patterns, not fight it. That's why his hair never lays down but always springs up in spots, especially in the crown area.

21. Who gives a shit?
Look at it this way, Bush isn't pretending to be friends with the poor. The price of his haircut is immaterial. Matter of fact, he pretty obviously hates the poor, and for political reasons, his haircut *should* probably be hundreds and hundreds of dollars. That's the repuke way.

Other people with fancy haircuts pretend to like the poor. They're the ones who are being two faced about things. Bush is at least probably consistent.

22. Supposedly, he pays $30.00 for Afghan stylist Zahira Zahir to cut his hair
Edited on Sat May-26-07 07:51 AM by susu369
WASHINGTON (CNN) --Zahira Zahir has the kind of access to the politically powerful that Washington lobbyists only dream they had.

Every two weeks, she meets one on one with President Bush in the family quarters of the White House.

It's the same appointment she had with his father and former President Reagan as the Republican Party's designated hairdresser for almost 20 years.

"It's not that I would not cut a Democrat's hair. I need the money," she said.

--snip (pardon the pun)--
Zahir said she supports the war in Afghanistan, and while she has been asked occasionally, she's reluctant to offer her opinion to President Bush, whom she calls her "very, very favorite customer."

"I go as a hairdresser or a barber, not as their consultant person," said Zahir, who charges $30 for a men's haircut. "I am not their adviser, and that is why I have been very successful in my business. I mind my own business."

For the record, the president leaves a generous tip, she said.

23. The Royal Barbar Is Probably A GS-7 Or So. What Do They Make A Week?
Edited on Sat May-26-07 08:24 AM by ThomWV
That plus Whitehouse overhead is your answer. My guess? Somewhere in the neighborhood of $1,000 per week - which is to say about $2,500 per haircut. Wash and a rinse come with the price.

26. As with Edwards, I don't care.
I only care about his policies - and both he and Edwards haven't shown much forethought. Granted, Edwards recognized that the war wasn't popular anymore and amended his while saying "Oops" for his war and PATRIOT Act votes, but, still, neither has shown to be all that visionary.
