So Congress just passed $100 billion for Iraq and in Sept another $141 billion for Iraq

So Congress just passed $100 billion for Iraq and in Sept another $141 billion for Iraq
Plus $460 billion for the military.. So for the year 2007 they will pass over $700 billion dollars for war and military. WTF is going on in this country of no National Health Care?

did they pass the September spending bill already? I thought the whole spin was that they only had money to Sept?

4. No of course they have not yet passed the Sept bills but do you actually have doubts that they will?
Did this last capitulation not show you anything at all? They have stated flat out numerous times the troops will get their money.. They certainly don't want to be tarred by the Republicans as not supporting the troops. That is the one underlying factor in this whole thing. How the Republicans will make them appear..It weighs more heavily on their minds than the health and welfare of the nation or actual support of our troops. This is the one deciding factor in how they legislate. How the Republicans will portray them

6. I'll be surprised if they don't.
They snuck so much into that bill that I'm not sure if it covered future cave-ins or not.
