My young, ignorant brother-in-law
I was having a discussion with a fellow Democrat (who also was retired military) about the misadministration. My bil happened to be sitting on the other side of the room, quiet. I mentioned how could anyone have been stupid enough to have voted for Bush twice. The other gentleman stated that Bush would go down as the worst president ever.

My bil then magically spoke. He said Bush wasn't as dumb as he appeared to be in public. And then, he claimed he would vote for him again if he could. Now, my bil is not the sharpest knife in the drawer. He laughs at my inability to work with my hands, and has mentioned to others that I and my wife don't have real jobs (we work in education). I have also heard him make fun of people who have college degrees. Needless to say, he has a general dislike for education.

Isn't this a typical story, folks? This is who we're up against. I guess I'm just an elitist, as my bil would probably say. But my God, these people are scary.
