Former Pentagon spymaster Pat Lang, on his job interview (for the OSP) with Douglas Feith:

From Steve Clemons, writer for the Washington Note:

"He was sitting there munching a sandwich while he was talking to me," Lang recalled, "which I thought was remarkable in itself, but he also had these briefing papers -- they always had briefing papers, you know -- about me.

"He's looking at this stuff, and he says, 'I've heard of you. I heard of you.'

"He says, 'Is it really true that you really know the Arabs this well, and that you speak Arabic this well? Is that really true? Is that really true?'

"And I said, 'Yeah, that's really true.'

"That's too bad," Feith said.

What they have done, intentionally, had caused immense harm to our country, our government, and the people.

Eddie Slovik was shot for desertion even though he never deserted. The current pResident did. During a war.

Why are these people not under arrest? Their crimes are so much more horrendous than Eddie Slovik's.

Since Feith has promoted the deep involvement of America in Arabia, you would think he would want to acquire around him Arabic speakers and people with knowledge about that part of the world, if for no other reason than as part of the principle of "know thine enemy", assuming Feith considers Arabs or Islam to be the enemy.

Essentially, there is only one investigation – a very big one, an all-inclusive one. Completely by chance, I, a lowly translator, stumbled over one piece of it. But I can tell you there are a lot of people involved, a lot of ranking officials, and a lot of illegal activities that include multi-billion-dollar drug-smuggling operations, black-market nuclear sales to terrorists and unsavory regimes, you name it. And of course a lot of people from abroad are involved. It's massive. So to do this investigation, to really do it, they will have to look into everything… That's the beauty of it. You can start from the AIPAC angle. You can start from the Plame case. You can start from my case. They all end up going to the same place, and they revolve around the same nucleus of people. There may be a lot of them, but it is one group. And they are very dangerous for all of us.
