when there is a thread title that you don't care about, its okay NOT to post in it to tell people how stupid it is.



when someone is upset, don't egg them on, give comfort. We feel this is a community and we sometimes share things that we normally wouldn't.


When the world is outraged, we don't need to be outraged at each other.

when someone is definately a troll...share :)

when you get upset at DU, don't annouonce it to the world, just step back and take a break.


Remember others are always watching to see how we play.

Man I can't tell you how many times I've written a reply to a post and then just before hitting the post message button I stop and ask myself these questions,, 'is it true' 'is it hurtful' 'is it necessary'. If I answer 'no' to at least one of those questions I usually delete my reply or re-word it in a kinder gentler way. I am not perfect and I don't always succeed and have spouted off with raw emotion rather than giving it some thought. We've all been there and many of us will prolly do it again:evilgrin:
