I guess she might be registered as a Democrat in California, but beyond that, what? Has she ever held any party office, been a Democratic candidate, campaigned for the Democratic Party? It seems to me that her only real "ties" were expecting that Democrats would magically end the war on her timetable and then making a noisy, public exit when her fantasies were not satisfied.

some of us are moderates, a few of us are even Conservative democrats.....Cindy said some things that were not very supportive of the Democratic Party.......Some of us are tired of this groupthink that if we aren't with Cindy we are with the rightwing terrorists......... I don't like Cindy Sheehan, her son's death is a tragedy and I have no idea what she has gone through, nor will I ever understand it. That being said, her grandstanding and "attention whore-ness" has always rankled me. My opinion about Cindy Sheehan does nothing to make me have any less passion towards removing the asshole at 1600 Pennsylvania and making our country great again.......But of course to the "lock step smothering of dissent squad" I have just committed a heresy.......
