7. It sounds like she and her organization are going to take a breather

and then think about becoming active again as a humanitarian organization. Sounds like Ed Schultz is pretty pissed off about the failure of the political system and the abuse Cindy took.

5. So, she's not really 'resigning' or 'giving up'. Back in two months
with "a new direction." Basically, she said that she's just taking a break.

11. Not exactly -- she said she was getting out of the antiwar movement
and after a break will probably get involved in humanitarian work. So she's not going to disappear altogether, just do something different.

12. Maybe we're saying the same thing
What I took her as meaning is that she's still going to be active in trying to stop it, but is re-evaluating the approach. That possibly a huminatarian approach (as opposed to a direct "anti-war" approach). Dunno.

It did seem a bit odd that she dodged the direct question whether she thinks Casey died for nothing, though. That took me aback when she did that. It was heartwrenching to read that her final realization over the weekend was that Casey died for nothing. I thought, "Well, the Melanie Morgan et als of hate media can lay claim to killing off another voice."

8. What did she say?
Edited on Tue May-29-07 11:22 AM by Breeze54
I must have missed that part. I hear Ed agreeing with her.

On edit:
I got and read the gist above. Thanks.

9. No offense to liberals, but
ever since the blank-check vote, Ed Schultz has been talking like some kind of a liberal in regards to the war.

10. i like the new Big Eddie
but then i've listened to him ever since AAR/Jones Radio Network started here 2 years ago.

He gets Kucinich on (more recently) and supports his message positively.
