Republican Congressman wants Paul Wolfowitz, mayor of Baghdad.
“Paul Wolfowitz may have been ousted from his post at the World Bank,
but a free-speaking GOP lawmaker has an idea to keep the so-called ‘architect’
of the Iraq War from standing in the unemployment line.

‘I would like to suggest…that maybe we give Paul Wolfowitz a new job and send him over as mayor,’ said Rep. Walter Jones, R-N.C., ‘since the neocons got us in over there.’”

6. He would be mayor for a day if it happened.
Meanwhile it is good to see them eating their own.

11. He could getJohn McLameBrain to show him around.
Do a little shopping, shake a few hands at the local coffee shop, swap a few jokes with the local killers and bombers..you know..get the feel of the place.

12. 'Mayor' is too high of a position. Let's go with 'Deputy Mayor of Baghdad'.

13. No, send him as the Bush envoy to oversee construction
of the Bush palace.

No reason to saddle the Iraq government with any more Bush cronies.

19. He might actually appreciate that.
I don't agree with many of his positions, but at least he admitted he was wrong about the war well before it was "popular" to do so.

No :sarcasm: tag necessary! Let's send one of the chief architects of the Iraq war to the very war zone he created!

20. They'd probably be happy to have him
Since that first rocket missed him, I'll bet they'd love a second, third, fourth, fifth crack at it.

21. I'm actually starting to enjoy Freedom Fries Jones
Walter Jones is the Republican congressman who introduced the bill changing "French Toast" and "French Fries" in the House cafeteria to "Freedom Toast" and "Freedom Fries."

Then he figured out Bush should BE toast, and he's started speaking out against the Bush War.

However...I was kinda thinkin' store manager of the Shorja Market would be a better job for Wolfowitz.
