BATAVIA, IL - While a crowd of people gathered at Batavia Library May 22 to discuss the possible impeachment of President George W. Bush and his administration, one man stood outside with a sign in support of the country’s current leader.

“I hate war, believe me,” St. Charles resident Earl Johnson said. “But if it wasn’t for the Civil War and the Revolutionary War, we’d be in deep trouble now.”

While Johnson disagreed with the stance of most people at the meeting, he strongly supports their right of the first amendment’s freedom of speech.

“I’ll die for their right to be wrong,” he said.

we need to fear the most! He's the one stripping us of civil liberties, of starting wars he has no intention of finishing, of driving this country into bankruptcy just so he can cut financial support off to people too old and sick to work.

This poor old geezer has finally been allowed to feel all safe and cozy out there in East Bumfuck, Illinois, a place that no terrorist worth his suicide belt would ever consider threatening. I'm so terribly glad that having somebody in the White House who is thrilled to carry on the work that Osama bin Laden started is making this fool feel safe.
